In fact, she wastes no time taking back her throne and cleaning house. ![]() The Cerulean Queen by Sarah Kozloff picks up right after the end of the previous book, and Princess Cérulia is broken no more. Boom, Headshot!: Sara pulls this off towards the end of the graphic novel.She uses this as she's dying to take the second sniper with her. Booby Trap: Sara often rigs the bodies of those she's killed with grenades.Blood Knight: Vera - notable for asking why anyone would want the war to end.Bittersweet Ending: Although 'Rina, Vera and Lydi have bright futures ahead of them ([[spoiler: maybe), Nata, Mari, Darya and Sara are all dead.Anyone Can Die: Given that it's a war story, it's very justified. ![]() ![]() The graphic novel was published in December 2018 as one of Ennis' many war comics. A single mistake may prove to be her undoing. Sara is a graphic novel by Garth Ennis following a sniper at the Siege of Leningrad, 1942 while fighting, she has to confront her demons as well as the threats on the Eastern Front. ![]() ![]() Mary Wollstonecraft may have said that Mary was ‘laughable’ years after writing it but I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a collection of two texts by Mary Wollstonecraft ( Mary: a Fiction and The Wrongs of Woman or, Maria) so I’ll split this review into two sections. Mary learns to take control of her destiny and become a social philanthropist, while Maria, in The Wrongs of Woman, fights imprisonment and a loveless marriage to claim her rights. In both novels the heroines have to rely on their own resources to establish their independence and intellectual development. Expressed most forcefully in her Vindication of the Rights of Woman (1792), her forthright opinions also inform her two innovative novels, Mary and The Wrongs of Woman, a fictional sequel to the Vindication. ![]() ![]() Summary: Mary Wollstonecraft is best known for her pioneering views on the rights of women to share equal rights and opportunities with men. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() As a consequence, she is nothing but a riffraff, especially for the young Prince Cardan and his malevolent friends. While living in Faerie, she becomes a great fighter and learns everything she is taught about their history and politics. Brought up in their court from an early age, Jude learns to adapt up to the point that when she's exiled to the human world later on, she can't wait to go back. In this trilogy we experience the life and challenges of Jude, a mortal forced to live in the faerie world after her parents were murdered by her foster father-the great faerie General. So eventually, it's difficult to know where a book ends and the other begins. You see, I couldn't stop reading one book after the other. I decided to write only one review after reading the entire trilogy (The Cruel Prince, The Wicked King, and The Queen of nothing).
